Ego Questions, Soul Knows

When we are confused, questioning, contemplating, we are operating out of our ego.

Our ego is wrapped up in “less than” experiences. It feeds on our fears. It is the source of our doubts. It is what brings us pain. When we identify with these thoughts (ego thoughts) we move further away from our truth (soul truths).

The ego is not the real you!

The ego — our sense of self — perceives life through a lens of duality.

Duality is the opposite of what is real — it is the division of life love/hate, good/bad, right/wrong, and holy/sinful.

When we divide our life, we suffer. We accept some things and reject others; we love some people, and hate those who do not fit a certain category.

When we can only see life in forces of opposites we cannot experience life in its wholeness.

It is only through conquering our fears that we can move away from them. If we understand that our ego is a false sense of who we are, we realize that we do not need to live within its reality and the freer we are to experience life.

Your Ego Will Never Be Satisfied

Your ego constantly replays the past, judges situations as right or wrong and takes matters very personally.

In doing this, our Ego doesn’t allow us to move on, we don’t have the oppertunity to create positive experiences on past issues, and we end up in the same place once again.

Our True Self allows us to move forward, it encourages shifts. It works with who we truly are and what we truly want to experience from life.

Your Decision

You have a choice: You can choose to evolve and heal or stay in the pain.

The Difference between Ego and Self

Ego supplies you with pain, obsession, fear and severe dis-empowerment. You feel tired, anxious and overwhelmed.

Your True Self supplies you with peace, happiness, calmness and clarity. You are in the Now, you are functional, you are creative and you are expansive.

A Life Well Lived

Viktor Frankl taught that meaning of life comes from three sources: purposeful work, love and courage in the face of difficulty. Pay attention to meaning in your life and it will guide you and revive your soul.

In life, You are asked what your life means. Through life’s challenges you find the answer yourself; the ultimate creativity.

“Any path is only a path. There is no affront to yourself or others in dropping a path if that is what your heart tells you to do. But your decision to keep on a path or to leave it must be free of fear and ambition. I caution you: look at every path closely and deliberately. Try it as many times as you think necessary. Then ask yourself and yourself alone this one question: Does this path have a heart? All paths are the same. They lead nowhere. They are paths going through the brush or into the brush or under the brush of the Universe. The only question is: Does this path have a heart, a soul? If it does, then it is a good path. If it doesn’t, then it is of no use.” — Carlos Castaneda
